Disclaimer: I pride myself in furniture repair / painting and restoration. Every piece I revive is previously used furniture. Not everything will be brand-new on my work, for example reused hinges, and handles. In addition, dents from use may also be evident, I do not repair every minor flaw. To me the flaws in the furniture build its character and story. In 2007 the EPA estimated that about 65-69 gallons of paint was discarded.
