Kitchen cabinets are high traffic areas, how many times a day do you or your family touch the silverware drawer?  its a lot! Regular paint without any special attention is not going to last! If you choose not to purchase you still need to know:

Should you decide not to purchase this eBook I totally understand but since you came here and you are reading this two main things to take away from this, do not use chalk paint or wax.

Chalk paint is not a durable paint it has a lot of fillers in it for the chalky look those fillers make the paint weaker.

Wax is is not a suitable top coat for kitchen cabinets. Wax can also be somewhat sticky, and finger prints can stand out. Dirt can easily adhere to it making it harder to clean. Wax is suggested to be reapplied about every year so it is not a low-maintenance option. Also wax is used typically more for looks rather than as a durable protectant.
