Meet our old kitchen table bench. We just got a new table and instead of ditching this girl I decided to give her a facelift. Why not do some upholstery.

I went up to hobby lobby to pick out some fabric. Spotted this sweet thing with cotton on it. I purchased 1″ foam and fiber fill on Amazon for my seat. I did two layers of foam and one layer of fiberfill pulled to the underside. I use spray adhesive on my foam so it all stays together.
When I bought the fabric I did not pay any attention to the direction of the fabric so I did have to sew three panels together. I could have done two but I did three so there wasn’t just one seam right in the middle. Luckily you can’t hardly tell.
I painted the wood General Finishes Queenstown grey, to match the little steams on the cotton.

Short and sweet for today when this comes out it will be Easter Sunday so I hope you all enjoy your Easter with family and friends.
Thank you for reading and happy upcycling
