I knew I was going to do the top wood but I wanted to do a natural wood color. I have always wanted to do a table with all different color and style chairs. So instead I did two beachy colors for the chairs and a natural grey base.

Creating and designing furniture like this piece is one of my favorite things to do. I always start a design like this with a sample piece. Painted a piece of wood with General Finishes Basil Milk Paint once dried lightly distressed and then glazed with watered down General Finishes Waterbase Stain – Graphite.

Updating furniture with handles can revive your furniture. New paint and hardware can drastically change the look of a piece of furniture. There are so many different handles that can bring out the type of style you are going for. Styles like, industrial, farmhouse, cottage, boho and more.
